Riddells Creek Pony Club accepts membership applications from riders between the ages of 5 to 25. Younger children must be enrolled in school before they will be considered for membership.
The RCPC constitution allows for a total of 80 riding members. The limit on members allows the club to manage a diverse range of ages, skill levels and activities. Riders are divided into groups of eight based predominantly on their riding ability, but also age and friendships where possible. As such, availability of membership positions may be limited depending on the group an applicant would be placed in.
Membership intakes occur twice yearly (although applications are received at any time throughout the year). The usual intake periods are July and January, however new members can be enrolled at any time of the year at the discretion of the committee.
Membership fees are set at the Annual General Meeting each year with renewals due in June. The fees include PCAV State Levies, and so are subject to change in accordance with PCAV prescribed annual fees which include a component for insurance coverage.
We try to keep the fees as low as possible, whilst ensuring that we can still provide good instruction and facilities. It should be noted that fees rarely cover the full cost of instruction at rallies, the difference being made up from fundraising activities such as events and the canteen.
Junior - $450
Senior - $470
Junior members have not turned 17 by June 30th.
If a family has more than 2 riding members, the third and subsequent members receive a 50% discount on the Club fee.
Payment of Fees
Membership must be renewed via the PCAV Website. Payment can be made on the website using a credit or debit card (incurs a $10.33 processing fee), or by choosing EFT and then making a direct deposit into the Riddells Creek Pony Club bank account.
