The Riddells Creek Pony Club is situated on over 50 acres of land on the eastern town boundary of Riddells Creek.
The immediate five acres surrounding the Watson Pavillion (club house) was purchased by Macedon Ranges Shire Council for exclusive use of RCPC. This area comprises over 100 holding yards, two wash down bays, a 20m x 60m sand arena and a clubhouse with canteen, committee room, office, storage areas, and shower and toilet facilities.
The remaining acreage is leased by RCPC through the kind generosity of the Clarke Family, and includes two multipurpose sand arenas, and a cross-country course with jumps from Grade 5 to 2-star level.
RCPC has invested heavily in quality equipment for use by members and competitors. This includes six (6) PVC dressage rings; a variety of show jumping wings (including safety cups), poles and fillers; games equipment; and permanent and portable cross country obstacles.
Cross Country Course
The 'Candlebark' cross country course is an inviting course, which will encourage horses at all levels. Set in open countryside interspersed with mature trees, the terrain is flat to undulating. At higher levels, technical questions will test the ability of the rider. The course offers excellent spectator viewing from several vantage points.
